Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as Mama G, is a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Born on September 14, 1958, in Amaobo village, Ngwo, Enugu State, Nigeria, Patience is a Nigerian national of African heritage and belongs to the Igbo tribe. She follows the Christian faith and has achieved great success in her various endeavors.


Patience Ozokwor received her primary education at Abimbola Gibson Memorial School in Nigeria and later attended Methodist Girls School in Yaba for her secondary education. She furthered her studies at the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu State, where she obtained a degree in Fine and Applied Arts. Prior to that, she attended Afikpo Teachers Training College, which laid the foundation for her educational journey.

Patience discovered her passion for acting during her time in primary school, where she actively participated in numerous stage plays. In her personal life, Patience Ozokwor was married to Nduka Ozokwor, a mechanical engineer. They tied the knot when she was 19 years old and remained together for many years. Tragically, Nduka passed away in 2000 after battling illness for nearly fifteen years. Despite the loss, Patience chose not to remarry. She and her late husband have three biological children: two sons named Chuka and Uchendu, and a daughter named Chioma Nnenna Lameya. In addition to her biological children, Patience has five adopted children who all bear her name, although one of them is deceased.
